There are different materials that can be used on hammocks. The materials used can either be canvas, cotton and even nylon. There are however many other kinds of materials that can be used. The right material will depend on what you plan to use the hammock for. The material used will also influence the durability of the hammock; there are some materials that are more durable than others. There are materials that are easier to clean than others.

End use

What you plan to use the hammock for will affect the kind of hammock that will be right for you. For example a hammock that will be best suitable for camping will not be the same as an indoor hammock. There are different characteristics that will make it either suitable for indoors or outdoors. The cost of the hammock is also an important consideration to make as you would want to choose a hammock that is within your budget. The price can also be an indication of quality as a high quality hammock is more likely to be expensive. You are likely to get what you pay for though you can also get a used high quality hammock at a good and affordable price.
